About  Lapu-Lapu City

Lapu-lapu City is one of the cities of Cebu province.   It is a highly urbanized city of Cebu where one of the largest economic zones in the Philippines is situated.

It was formely known as Opon,  with population of almost half million as of 2015 Phlippine Statistics data. 

This City is bounded on the north by the Main Island of Cebu, to the west by Cebu City and Mactan Channel, on the east by the Camotes Sea, and on the south by the town of Cordova.

This is where Magellan and our dear hero, Lapu-lapu fought Christianity.
